The Heallist Foundation

How We Measure Impact

Impact is not defined by how many children we reach, but by what changes because of that access.

At The Heallist Foundation, we believe impact is not defined by how many children we reach, but by what changes because of that access.

Our approach focuses on early exposure to holistic wellness and tracks whether that exposure leads to sustained engagement, behavioral change, and long-term community impact.

Where We Begin

Access Is the Starting Point

We begin by expanding access to programs for youth and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate. Access alone is not the goal. It is the entry point.

We Track

  • Number of youth served
  • Percentage of subsidized participants
  • Communities reached

Measuring Retention

Engagement Signals What's Working

We measure whether participants continue beyond their first experience. Sustained participation tells us that these practices are becoming part of daily life.

We Track

  • Are they coming back?
  • Are they participating in multiple programs?
  • Are families staying engaged over time?

Beyond the Individual

Impact Extends Through Community

Our model is designed to reach beyond individual participants. By funding training for educators and healthcare professionals, we extend wellness practices into classrooms and care environments where children already spend their time.

We Track

  • Number of professionals trained
  • Environments reached through those professionals
  • Continued use of these tools in community settings

Signs of Progress

Early Indicators of Change

We track early signals that indicate progress before long-term outcomes can be fully measured. These indicators help us understand whether we are moving in the right direction.

We Track

  • Increased confidence and emotional awareness
  • Willingness to engage in wellness practices
  • Continued participation over time
  • Adoption of practices like movement, breathwork, and recovery
  • Observed improvements in focus, behavior, and resilience

The Bigger Picture

Building for Long-Term Impact

Our goal is to create a model that can be sustained and replicated across communities.

We Measure Success By

  • The strength of our local partnerships
  • Our ability to expand into new communities
  • The long-term presence of programs beyond initial implementation

We are not building one program. We are building a system that makes wellness accessible, familiar, and sustainable for the communities that need it most.
