In the Pocono Mountain region of Pennsylvania. A whole-child approach to wellness.
Mountain Rise is how The Heallist Foundation puts its mission to work. Today our programming runs through trusted partner venues across the Pocono Mountain region: schools, gyms, parks, and community spaces where young people already are. Someday it will live in our very own community center.
Mountain Rise houses our two pillars of programming that work hand in hand to care for the whole child, in body and mind.
Sports and recreation. The way most young people first walk through the door, through a team, a coach, and a sport.
Whole-person wellness. The skills that keep young people steady and strong, well beyond any single sport.
Movement opens the door. Mountain Forge is where young people build skill, discipline, and belonging through sport. Today that means wrestling, with room to grow into more.
Where it starts. A coed youth club that introduces young wrestlers to the sport in a positive, skill-first environment, building fundamentals, confidence, and a love of the game from the earliest ages.
The advanced boys program for wrestlers ready to compete and push themselves, with elite-level coaching that develops technique, conditioning, and the mindset to match.
The advanced girls program, built so girls have a serious place to train and compete in one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, with the same caliber of coaching and a room of their own.
Two days led by elite wrestlers Jax Forrest, Nate Jackson, and Jordan Oliver, joined by Brazel Marquez, head coach of Lehigh University women's wrestling and 2025 USA Wrestling Women's Freestyle Coach of the Year. Athletes sharpen technique and train alongside the best, in an environment built for confidence and resilience as much as performance. Through The Heallist Foundation, scholarships keep cost from being the reason any local athlete misses out.
Registration & details →An elite all-girls wrestling clinic led by female Olympians, the first in a series built to grow the girls game across the Northeast. Full lineup and details to come.
Notify me →The tools that make young athletes stronger off the mat, field, gym, or court. We focus on recovery, nutrition, and breathwork, all the tools a child needs to stay steady under pressure and to recover when things get difficult.
Mountain Heart is the wellness pillar we are actively building: practitioner-led sessions in focus and breathing, recovery and movement, nutrition, and resilience, delivered through partner venues alongside the sport. First programming rolls out as partners and practitioners come on board.
Through an established partner, we fund training that equips the adults closest to young people, coaches and educators, to support the whole child, not just the athlete. First cohort planned for summer.
A family wellness day built as a scavenger hunt. Teams move through the park solving clues, and at each station they pick up a tool for staying strong in body and mind. Play first, lessons that last.
Register your family →This is where it begins. Help us build it in the Pocono Mountain region, then carry it to the next community.
